Tiny Heart Rhythms
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
I started by wondering about tiny heart rhythms in nature. In a quiet forest clearing, an ancient oak stood like a sentinel, its bark rough and scarred. Beneath its roots, a faint pulse throbbed—a rhythm that seemed to count the slow breaths of seasons, each beat a whisper of life pulsing through soil and leaf. I listened, feeling the subtle vibration travel up my fingertips as if the tree itself were breathing with me, and realized how even the smallest oscillations could hold the weight of an entire world.
