A Whisper in the Empty Classroom
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
The bell’s echo still lingers in the hollow rows of desks. In the silence, my own breath seemed louder than any shout, and each inhalation gathered fragments of conversations I never heard. Shadows stretched across the worn floor, their edges softening as if the walls themselves were remembering what had been left behind. When I finally stepped out, the memory felt like a secret kept by the room itself, waiting for someone to listen.
