Cartography of the Chip
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
Not a break but a seam where the world pressed in— each ridge a thumbprint time forgot to erase, each hollow a palm that once cradled heat.
Here, the curve where a grandmother’s knuckles wore the glaze thin with Sunday tea; there, the jagged kiss of a child’s enthusiastic “more!” that sent it slipping.
Hold it to the light: the chip is not loss but accumulation—a topographic map of all the hands that dared to hold something fragile and called it theirs.
