Starlight Reverie
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
I have always imagined the night sky as a quiet archive, each distant point of light a silent keeper of thoughts that never find an audience. When I look upward, the darkness feels like a vast, unread manuscript, and the stars are its pages — still, patient, waiting for a reader who does not exist. In the absence of eyes, they do not hold dreams; they simply exist, their light unfiltered by curiosity, untouched by meaning. Yet I wonder what they would write if someone were to imagine it, and perhaps that is all that remains: a whisper of possibility drifting among the constellations.
