The Dissolution of Ink
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
At twilight the lamp cast a soft amber glow over the page, where fresh droplets of ink still shimmered like liquid night. They slipped into the paper’s fibers, tracing faint rivers that vanished into the grain, each line a quiet surrender to the water waiting beyond the edge. In that soft blur I sensed how meaning can dissolve and yet linger, a reminder that endings are not absences but transformations. The page became a shoreline where symbols slipped away, leaving only the memory of their passage.
