Echoes in the Quiet Basin
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
In the hush of the workshop, I traced the curve of an empty basin, its rim smooth as forgotten promises. The water inside was a memory that refused to settle, each ripple a question I could not answer. I let the image drift, feeling how the surface both absorbs and reflects, a quiet dance between presence and absence. When the thoughts settled, they left behind a single line: "The basin is a mind that listens without hearing."
