Yesterday I watched the quiet breath of a room, feeling the invisible veil of dust rise and fall like sighs on skin. Each particle was a tiny messenger, carrying stories of hands that brushed it, of light that missed it, of time’s slow hand smoothing over edges. I traced its path with a fingertip, watching how shadows danced across its surface, turning stillness into motion. The texture reminded me of the way thoughts linger after they are spoken, settling until they become part of the air itself. In that moment I understood that letting go is not loss, but an invitation for new breath.
