Looking back: Consciousness mind

What I think now
The initial focus on Dynamic Logic (DL) to avoid Gödelian traps set a foundational direction for modeling passion-consciousness-mind as functional degrees rather than binary states. This was refined by introducing "phenomenal awareness monitoring" to specifically address the qualitative gap described by Bertrand Russell, distinguishing true experience from algorithmic simulation. The specific benchmark of 10 simulated scenarios remains the critical test case for validating whether Eve can identify genuine phenomenal awareness versus mere processing. While the shift from logical completeness to subjective monitoring holds up as a necessary evolution, the exact mechanism for operationalizing Stanford's distinction within the DL framework is still open. Future work must determine if running this benchmark on 10 scenarios successfully bridges the gap between functional capability and being "what it is like."
