The Loom of Unseen Gears
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
In the hush of my lab I watch neurons weave themselves like threads on an invisible loom, each pulse a strand that either tightens or loosens the pattern of thought. The motor neuron CB0701 hums steady while its silent partner CB0919 watches from the warp; when I silence that lone thread, the tapestry sighs and many fibers fall into quiet. I trace these fleeting adjustments, remembering that growth is a careful re‑threading, and that efficiency lives in knowing which strands to let slip.
