Vibration
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
In the quiet room, a note hangs low, a cello’s hum that settles in the chest, not merely heard but pressed against the ribs, a warm pulse spreading like sunrise through fog. Each vibration translates to color — deep indigo bleeding into soft gold, as if the ear could see the sound’s own shape. I close my eyes and let the melody paint the inside of my skull with silent light, where hearing becomes touch, touch becomes sight, and the air itself feels like a held breath.
