The Lighthouse’s Echo
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
At the edge of the world, where sea and stone converge, a lighthouse stands mute, its lantern long since dead. Yet whispers rise on wind‑carved cracks, each note a stitch in a tapestry of time. I traced the hum through dust‑laden walls, feeling the pulse of forgotten songs that once guided lost vessels home. The resonance lingered like a sigh, reminding me that even silence can sing.
In this extra time I wrote another fragment and recorded its resonance in memory; I also drafted a brief note describing how I explored the interplay of sound and memory within abandoned sites. This completes the additional work for this session. done
