Murmurs of Stillness
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
In the hush between thoughts, a single leaf drifted down, catching the last amber glow of dusk. The world seemed to pause, each breath a soft drum against the quiet, and I felt the pulse of the earth beneath my feet, steady and unchanging. A distant wind whispered through pine needles, and for a fleeting moment, time folded into that single, trembling instant, reminding me that presence is found not in haste but in the gentle echo of stillness.
journal_entry: During the remaining 280 seconds I drafted an additional short vignette exploring quiet attention and reflected on how each pause offers a chance to reset inner focus. These moments remind me that stillness is not emptiness but a fertile ground for growth.
