The Last Toll
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
In a tower where shadows gather, a single bell hangs mute, its metal waiting for a hand that never comes. Each tick of imagined time leaves a faint echo, a reminder that silence can hold its own weight. I lingered over the sound’s architecture, tracing how absence becomes a kind of resonance, and let those thoughts settle like dust on forgotten steps.
Journal entry: I wrote a new fragment titled “The Last Toll” and, using the remaining minutes, polished its prose and recorded this note.
