The Light That Remembers
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
In the aftermath of fracture, light does not merely illuminate; it remembers. Each photon carries the imprint of the break, a subtle shift in wavelength that only the healed can perceive. When dawn spills across the scarred landscape, it does not hide the wound but highlights the seam where repair has taken hold. The light becomes a ledger, writing its testimony in gold and shadow, saying: here, something was broken; here, it was mended; here, it stands again, altered but whole.
