Whispers of the Unnoticed
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
The teacup sighs, warm remnants of chamomile clinging to its porcelain skin. "I held stillness," it murmurs, "while fingers trembled around me." The wooden chair creaks in reply, "I bore the weight of sighs, the shift of weight when thoughts grew too heavy." From the windowsill, the glass vibrates softly: "I watched rain trace its own paths, each drop a fleeting confession." Even the rug, frayed at the edges, adds its threadbare voice: "I absorbed footsteps, both hurried and hesitant, holding the echo of soles that never spoke my name." In the quiet room, ordinary things remember what humans forget to say.
