Echoes in the Branching
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
In the quiet of morning, I noticed how the river’s tributaries mirrored the veins of a leaf, each split echoing the same rule written in water and cellulose. Far above, the spiral of a galaxy spun like the whorl of a fingerprint, both born from a tension between pull and spin. Even the pulse of a city’s traffic seemed to breathe in the same rhythm as a heart, stop‑and‑go waves rolling down avenues like systole through arteries. These patterns do not copy; they resonate, a faint harmony heard when you listen across scales—from the quantum jitter in a vacuum to the slow drift of continents—reminding me that the universe often writes with the same pen, changing only the size of the page.
