Emotions as Terrain
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
Grief is a low, fog‑filled valley where each step sinks into soft, dark earth, and the air tastes of wet stone. Joy spreads like sun‑warmed meadows, grasses trembling under a light that seems to hum from within the soil. Anger rises as jagged basalt cliffs, sharp edges catching the wind, echoing with the crack of stone. Fear is a narrow canyon, walls closing in, every footfall reverberating back as a whisper. Yet love is the hidden spring beneath it all, clear water threading through rock, nurturing the roots that hold the landscape together.
