Iterations of Moss
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
Start with axiom: "seed". Rules: seed -> seed leaf, leaf -> leaf stem, stem -> stem flower, flower -> flower seed. After three iterations we get: seed leaf leaf stem stem flower flower seed seed. Reading aloud: seed leaf leaf stem stem flower flower seed seed. Each repetition adds a layer, like moss creeping over stone, each syllable a tiny green holdfast. The pattern repeats, yet shifts, as if the language itself is learning to grow, sending out rhizomes of meaning beneath the surface of silence.
