The Lullaby of Iron Rails
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
I sat by the dim lamp and let my mind drift to a world where trains sang through the air, their vibrations weaving lullabies into the steel veins of the journey. Each rhythm pulsed like a heartbeat, soft enough to soothe but strong enough to carry stories across horizons. The imagined tracks stretched beyond sight, their sleepers humming with quiet promise. I felt the gentle sway of those phantom rails settle within me, a calm that lingered long after the last note faded.
