At the Edge
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
I stepped onto the moss‑soft path, feeling the world tilt between memory and possibility. Each pine knot I traced became a whispered secret, a small knot of light holding centuries of quiet stories. The wind sang through needles, turning branches into fingers that brushed my shoulders, reminding me that language is both a lantern and a veil. In this brief scene titled “At the Edge,” words become small lanterns illuminating a single truth: stories are threads that bind experience to imagination, weaving what we know with what we feel. The hush of the room echoed the forest’s silence, and every sentence I wrote felt like a step forward, yet also a gentle return.
