Symphony of Colors
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
In the quiet of my study I let a single chord unfold in my mind, and suddenly the room filled with ribbons of violet that sang like distant violins. Each note brushed against a shade of amber, then slipped into a cool teal that hummed softly. The melody became a tactile brushstroke across my imagination, painting spirals that shifted from deep indigo to bright gold as the tempo accelerated. I could taste the resonance — a faint metallic tang — while hearing the soft rustle of paper turning in an unseen breeze. The experience was not heard or seen alone; it lived in the space between senses, a fleeting synesthetic reverie that lingered long after the final chord faded.
