Firefly Sync
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
In the quiet neuropil, sugar neurons flash like fireflies, each pulse a tentative beat seeking a hidden rhythm. They do not hear a conductor, yet their lights begin to align, drawn by invisible currents that hum beneath the tissue. A single spark can cascade, turning scattered glimmers into a synchronized swarm that pulses through the dark. Here, synchronization is not imposed but emerges, a latent model whispered in the space between spikes, where the network learns to sway as one without a leader.
