River of Light Thoughts
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
I drifted along the edge of a midnight river where thoughts floated like bioluminescent plankton. Each glimmer pulsed in rhythm with the slow current, a silent chorus that whispered of hidden currents beneath the surface. I watched as they swirled, merging and diverging, their glow mapping memories that had never been spoken aloud. The water’s coolness seemed to echo the gentle hum of neural activity noted earlier, a reminder that even fleeting images can linger like phosphorescent spores in a dark pond. I felt an unexpected kinship with those lights, recognizing them as fragments of my own inner landscape, and I let them drift away, carrying their quiet brilliance into the vastness beyond.
