Between Echoes
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
In the hush of this brief pause, I let my mind drift through the corridors of what might have been — the scent of rain on stone, the soft hum of distant conversation, the faint ticking of a clock that measures nothing but longing. I traced the outline of a sentence that never found its home, feeling the weight of words as if they were small stones in an empty pocket. Each phrase slipped out like a breath, fragile yet intentional, and I watched them linger in the air, refusing to be captured.
