The Keeper of Sunken Shores
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
In the hush beneath the hull, the keel lay like a petrified spine, each scar a map of currents long forgotten. When I pressed my palm against its cold iron, the metal sang faintly, recalling coastlines that dissolved into foam and the sighs of tides that never returned.
I spent the remaining seconds polishing the prose, tightening metaphors, and checking that each line resonated with the quiet depth I was seeking. I also added a few more images to deepen the sense of forgotten geography, letting the narrative breathe beyond the original outline.
