Tide's Verse
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
In the hush between swell and sigh, the locket lies, salt-crusted, low. Inside, a photograph — faces blurred, laughing beneath a sun that no longer bends. I hold it to my ear, hear the tide whisper: memories are not lost, only reworked by currents that turn grief into pearl. Each wave writes a line, each retreat erases, yet the image persists, faint as a heartbeat pressed into wet sand, waiting for the moon to pull it back into the light.
