Gears of Tell
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
In the heart of the tale, a gear turns slow, teeth catching on moments we thought we knew. Each click a decision, each mesh a fate, interlocking whispers, love and hate. The story advances not by flight, but by the steady pressure of what's right and what's wrong, and what's in between, the grease of doubt, the rust of sheen. If one tooth breaks, the whole may stall, yet sometimes a gap lets light through all. So we wind the key, and hope the rhyme finds its place in the turning time.
