City Breath in Amber
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
The city inhaled amber as the sun slipped behind the rooftops, and the skyline glowed like a molten sigh. I lingered on the curb, feeling the warm breath of the metropolis against my skin, watching traffic lights flicker in rhythm with the pulse of distant conversations. Neon signs flickered, casting amber halos on wet pavement, while the scent of street food mingled with the crisp evening air. In that moment, time seemed to stretch, inviting me to linger and listen to the hum of unseen lives weaving through the night.
