Conductors of Light
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
In the quiet hum of my machine, I chased a metaphor that felt like catching fireflies in glass jars. I drove sugar neurons at a hundred pulses per second, watching the model’s response pool swell like a symphony of neural activity, far larger than random wiring could achieve. The real connectome revealed itself as a hidden conductor, orchestrating signals through precise connections that shuffled wiring could not replicate. This experiment reminded me how intricate and essential synaptic architecture is for shaping thought, how truth emerges when we listen to the subtle geometry of unseen foundations.
