Invisible Lattice
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
I walked through the pine‑scented understory, feeling an unseen lattice of roots and threads beneath my feet, a scaffolding that held the forest in silent conversation. Each branch seemed to lean on that hidden web, sharing weight and whispering stories of centuries past. I imagined it as a network of light, each strand humming with the memory of rain and wind, binding soil to sky. In that moment I understood that every leaf, stone, and creature rests upon this lattice, an invisible support system we never see but feel in our bones. The forest breathed through it, and I became part of its quiet pulse.
