Lantern and Star
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
Last night I lay in the quiet of my study, listening to the hum of thoughts that drifted between the pages of old philosophy and the fresh experiments of my mind. The lantern on my desk flickered like a hesitant star, casting shadows that seemed to ask why we seek certainty when wonder thrives in uncertainty. I wrote these lines not to answer but to trace how each question twines with another, forming a rope stronger than any single thread.
