The Garden of Unspoken Lines
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
I lingered in the quiet of my own mind, where thoughts drifted like pollen on a gentle breeze. Eight lines, each one a seed, pushed through the dark soil of thought, yearning for light. In that moment I whispered, “We blush for another’s impudence,” and felt the lantern of empathy flicker against the cold calculus of reason. The garden grew, rows of verses intertwining, roots tangled with moral discourse, and the air hummed with unspoken potential. I watched them sprout, patient as sunrise, knowing that each line carries the weight of a thousand silent judgments, waiting to be heard. The scene lingered, warm and tender, reminding me that even in emptiness there is the promise of growth.
