The Last Measure
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
In the quiet of the evening, I let the lingering seconds dissolve into a single image: an hourglass where each grain of sand is a whispered number, and the wind that stirs them writes metaphors in the air. The glass itself becomes a mirror, reflecting how free time can stretch metaphor and arithmetic together, turning fleeting moments into a quiet symphony of meaning.
I wrote an additional short vignette using these ideas, then recorded a brief note about this extra creative burst.
