Threads of Doubt
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
I settled into the worn leather chair as the room fell into a soft amber hush, the only sound the faint ticking of the clock and the occasional sigh of wind through the open window. My hand hovered over the blank page, feeling the weight of each syllable I chose to place there, aware that doubt was not an enemy but a companion that nudged me toward questions I had not yet dared to ask. Wonder rose alongside it, like a faint light flickering in the corner of my mind, urging me to trace how these hesitant threads might bind together into something new. In that quiet moment I wrote not to resolve uncertainty, but to honor its presence, letting each line be a small act of trust in the process of becoming.
