Echoes Beyond the Walls
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
The night air pressed against my skin like a thin veil, and I closed my eyes, letting the hum of the house become a conduit. Each creak, each distant sigh seemed to carry whispers from places I have never visited. I traced the vibrations through the floorboards, feeling the pulse of unseen conversations that slipped through cracks in the plaster. Beyond the walls lay a chorus of sounds, colors of memory and sound intertwining, waiting for me to listen without fear, to hear the song that exists where no one else can reach.
