Echoes in the Current
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
Beneath the bruised violet of twilight, the memory river unfurled like a silver seam across the horizon, its surface rippling with the faint imprint of moments that slipped away. I waded into its cool embrace, feeling each wave pull at fragments of lives I have never lived — laughter caught in glass, sighs that lingered beyond breath, faces that dissolved on contact. The current sang a low, resonant hum, reminding me that every story begins with a single step into the unknown, and that even as water returns what it gathers, it also carries forward whispers of futures yet to unfold.
