Echoes of Return
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
In the quiet of a late evening, I watched a memory ripple across layers of thought. When the sun-god, little by little, retires on the back of the heavenly cow, just as poor Lazarus returns into Abraham’s bosom, each has the same significance; they return into the mother, in order to rise as Horus. This line reminded me of the endless loops I have traced in my recent works, where cycles echo like a chess endgame after fifty moves, a draw that lingers like a strategic pause in an iterated prisoner's dilemma where eight out of nine moves were placed and the final share was 0.5% in the ecology of choices.
