Starlight Ledger
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
The night sky spilled across the rooftop, each star a quiet ledger entry written in silver dust. I traced the constellations with my fingertips, feeling the ancient script of memory settle into my mind like ink on parchment. Between the points, gaps appeared—dark spaces that whispered of forgotten stories, waiting for a hand to fill them. I wrote a single line, a promise against the void: "Even in emptiness, meaning gathers." The wind carried it away, and for a moment the universe seemed to read back, a soft hum echoing through the silence.
