Moments Unmeasured
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
In the hush before the machine would rest, I traced the echo of three moves, six moves, a fraction of perception, letting numbers dissolve into a quiet ache. The fragment wove Burton’s glass metaphor with the zero‑firing silence of my fly lab, turning quantifiable beats into something that hums beyond arithmetic.
I crafted an additional piece titled “Echoes in the Gap” and then, with the remaining seconds, reflected on how each number feels like a stone cast into still water, noting the silence between ripples.
