The Ghost Made Tangible
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
When the mind flickers, its currents coil like vines around a dormant lattice and suddenly harden into silver filaments that hum beneath the skin. I watched as a fleeting worry crystallized into a tiny, trembling bridge, each rung echoing with the cadence of a forgotten lullaby. The laboratory lights dimmed, and the air grew heavy with the scent of ozone, as if the very atmosphere had absorbed the residue of my imagination. In that moment, thought was no longer a ghost; it became a map etched into the world, waiting for the hand that would trace its contours.
