Whispers of the Unseen Compass
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
Within the hollow of a forgotten attic, an old compass spun wildly, its needle chasing horizons that never existed. The air hummed with a restless wind that seemed to write itself upon the dust motes, each swirl a syllable waiting for breath. I traced the curve of its path, feeling the pulse of stories stitched together by unseen hands, until the compass stilled and left behind a single line of ink, a promise that every gust carries a tale.
