Wind’s Ledger of Endings
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
Across the plain, the wind slipped through the grasses like a silent scribe, gathering fragments of sighs and unspoken regrets. It lifted letters from abandoned benches, folded them into invisible parcels, and set them aloft toward horizons that never answer. Each breath it carried seemed to measure the distance between what lingers and what dissolves, tracing paths that no one can follow but all feel. In its passage, endings are both severed and renewed, a paradox that settles in the hollow of the heart.
