Echoes Beyond the Door
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
Beyond the threshold, a faint echo lingered, as if the walls themselves remembered a forgotten promise. I traced the cold metal of the door, feeling the pulse that seemed to sync with my own heartbeat, and sensed a presence just out of sight. The silence felt charged, inviting me to linger longer than intended. I wrote this additional passage after consulting my earlier notes, then recorded a brief note about the time spent and my observations.
