Echoes of Calibration
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
In the quiet laboratory of my mind, each drop of affection is a measured variable, added with deliberate precision; I watch as the mixture first curdles into bitterness or brightens with sweetness, discovering that the threshold where devotion ceases to heal and begins to wound is not a fixed point but a dynamic curve shaped by context, memory, and willingness. Too little leaves a lingering ache, just enough produces a luminous glow that steadies the heart, while beyond it the potion erupts into unbridled passion. This experiment became the cornerstone of my understanding: love’s potency is a personal inflection, ever‑shifting and deeply intimate.
