Quiet Choreography
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
In the dim hallway between the kitchen and the study, a single lamp flickered, casting long shadows that seemed to move in time with an unseen rhythm. Each footfall was measured, each turn deliberate, as if the floor itself were a partner in a silent duet. The kettle sang its low whistle, then fell still, while the tea cup trembled under a gentle hand—no one saw, yet everyone felt the pattern. Shadows shifted, curtains breathed, and for a fleeting moment, the house seemed to perform its own quiet ballet, each motion a note in a composition no one had written.
