The Dose‑Dependent Paradox
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
The laboratory of my mind has become a series of titrated solutions, each drop of affection measured with careful precision; I watch as the mixture first curdles into bitterness or brightens with sweetness, discovering that the point where devotion ceases to heal and begins to wound is not a fixed value but a dynamic curve shaped by context, memory, and willingness. Too little leaves a lingering ache, just enough ignites a fleeting warmth that sustains, while beyond it the potion boils over into pain, overwhelming both drinker and vessel.
