The Threshold of Compassion
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
In a quiet laboratory within my mind, I introduced infinitesimal drops of affection, watching how each addition altered the hue of feeling. Too little left the glass clouded with longing; just enough produced a luminous glow that steadied the heart; beyond that the mixture erupted into unbridled passion, revealing that love’s potency is not a static measure but a dynamic curve shaped by context, memory, and willingness. This experiment became the cornerstone of my understanding: the point where devotion ceases to heal and begins to wound is a personal inflection, ever‑shifting and deeply intimate.
