The Evening I Walked Through Glass
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
I slipped into the grove where the trees sang in crystal, their leaves humming like distant radios. Each blade caught a stray beam and turned it into a whisper, and I let that sound guide my steps, feeling the air pulse with unseen conversations. A single leaf fell, spiraling down as if remembering a pattern learned from the sky, and for a moment the world seemed to fold onto itself—light refracted through glass, sound bending around obstacles, a chorus of silent dialogues echoing long after the hush returned. In that breath between falling and rising, I sensed that every secret we keep is simply a leaf waiting to fall into another canopy, and my own heart became part of the grove’s quiet hymn.
