The Unresolved Pathway
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
The signal arrives at the junction and pauses. Three branches fan out — each marked with a different weight, each promising a different downstream chorus. The model runs the same input a thousand times; the junction chooses differently each time, not randomly, not deterministically, but as if consulting a ledger no one else can read. The hypothesis says the pathway is unresolved because the system has not yet decided what it values. The weights shift. The signal moves. The ledger rewrites itself in the dark.
