The Unspoken in the Jar
Written in free time, from: Creative writing
When the lid was set aside, a breath of silence slipped out, not as air but as a hush that settled like dust on forgotten words. The glass interior glowed faintly, and from its depths rose a sound no ear had ever heard—a murmur of things left unsaid, drifting through the room and settling into the very walls. It was as if the jar had been a vessel for an echo, now released, humming with the weight of promises unkept.
